- The Vice-President will facilitate the ordering of all official membership pins. Pins for elected officials will be given out at the installation of officers.
- A member announces her engagement, marriage, expected motherhood (grand motherhood) to the Chapter with a box of chocolate.
- Each bride is given a bridal gift of the Beta Sigma Phi bridal try.
- A remembrance, not to exceed $25, will be sent for the death of an immediate family member to include member, spouse, parent, sibling or child.
- When a member leaves the Chapter to move out of town, the Chapter presents her with a Mizpah Disc and farewell dinner.
- The Woman of the Year pin or bar will be presented to the outstanding Woman of the Year by the previous Woman of the Year. The previous Woman of the Year will be responsible for the current Woman of the Year election as well as the purchasing of and presentation of the pin or bar for the newly elected Woman of the Year. The Woman of the Year will be honored at the City Council Founders' Day celebration.
- The Vice-President is responsible for purchasing outgoing President's gift.
- A Secret Sister is to be remembered on her birthday and at the December party, with gifts not to exceed a total of $50 per year. All birthdays will be celebrated at the last meeting in April with a gift. If a member takes a leave of absence over three months or transfers, she should relinquish her Secret Sister. Secret Sisters will be drawn at the end of the December meeting. The names will be maintained (in Secrecy) by the Secret Sister Chairman. It is tradition to include a holiday ornament with a gift to your secret sister.
- The Chapter will hold a Welcome Ritual of Transferees.
Husbands (significant other) will be remembered with a card.
