- Elections for new officers will be held in March, installation of officers will be held in April and take office in May. If an elected Officer goes North for the summer, a back-up will be elected. The Executive Board will appoint a replacement if an officer is unable to fulfill her duties. A nominating committee will consist of the Executive Board.
- Chapter Woman of the Year will be selected by ballot at the first meeting in March.
- The Vice President will be responsible for all Chapter properties and will maintain a current listing. She will also be responsible for conducting the rituals.
- A fine of one dollar ($1) per item shall be imposed upon a member who fails to bring her sorority pin or book to meetings.
- Each committee chairman or representative shall keep a written report, in notebook form, along with a running total of expenses incurred, to be passed on to her successor each year, and to be used by the Recording Secretary for the yardstick.
- Each member taking leave of absence for three months or less shall be responsible for a full years dues; six months leave would be responsible for a half year of dues; and over six months is not responsible for any dues.
- Members shall notify an officer prior to a meeting of the Chapter if she is unable to attend a scheduled meeting. Otherwise, the absence will be considered unexcused.
- All books will be closed by May 31 and a new budget established by June 30th.
- Pledge candidates shall attend one meeting and one social prior to being considered for membership. The Membership Committee (Executive Board) shall determine whether each candidate possesses the requisite qualifications to entitle her to an invitation to become a pledge of the chapter. Refer to Article III/Membership in the Book of Beta Sigma Phi for the remainder of rules regarding membership.
